What is Baccalaureate?
The term refers to a non-denominational ceremony held a few days before high school or college graduation. Unlike the massive commencement exercises held in stadiums or arenas, baccalaureate ceremonies offer a quieter, more intimate opportunity to pause and reflect on this rite of passage, hear a keynote speaker (faculty member) and student speakers offer advice to the graduating class and enjoy students' musical talents.

*Baccalaureate is separate from graduation rehearsal.
*All graduating Seniors in the district will be allotted 6 tickets for graduation. This is a directive from the School District of Lee County in order to be equitable with all students at all schools. The district ONLY provides NFMHS with 6 tickets per graduate therefore no additional tickets are available. Live streaming options are available for those that are unable to attend, link below.
