On the evening of November 16th, 2022 North Fort Myers High Senior Ava Williams was awarded top honors in the Art contest hosted by the Middle District of Florida United States District Court. The Middle District of Florida renders judgements in legal matters brought before them within the region which spans from Jacksonville to Fort Myers.
Ava Williams’ depiction of Uncle Sam won both the first place in the senior class category and the overall Best of Show award.
Ava was congratulated by Senior District Judge John Steele, District Judge Sheri Chappell and District Judge John Badalamenti. Afterward, she and the younger winners and their families enjoyed ice cream in the jury deliberation room.
