Welcome to North Fort Myers High School!

OPEN HOUSE will be held on Tuesday, August 7th from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Please join us anytime during this span to meet your teachers and learn about activities for the upcoming year. During Open House, students will report to Alpha Homeroom to pick up a draft schedule in order find your classrooms and meet teachers (Alpha Homeroom lists will be posted around the school).  A list of general supplies can be found on the next page and some teachers may request specific additional materials.

DRAFT schedules will be available for viewing starting Wednesday, July 25th via your FOCUS portal ( IF NO SCHEDULE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING, please call the school to schedule an appointment with your counselor. If there is a question concerning the schedule, or if it is necessary to make a correction, please visit our website and complete a Back to School Schedule Review Form ( so your counselor may review your schedule and make necessary adjustments. Once adjustments are made or should a counselor need further information they will contact you for a phone or personal conference.

Please try to take care of any scheduling issue by completing the Back to School Schedule Review form as soon as possible. Counselors will be available for appointments regarding schedules from July 25th – August 9th. Changes will not be made after the start of school unless it meets one of the following criteria:

  1. An error or a missing class
  2. Dual-enrollment class concern
  3. Duplicate or repeat class on schedule
  4. Class needed for graduation is omitted or was completed over summer

Due to the high number of specialty course offerings, scheduling limitations, and state expectations on class size, requests for classes to be taken at a different time period during the day are unable to be addressed.

On the first day of school, students will report to their ALPHA HOMEROOM as soon as they arrive.  Lists of ALPHA HOMEROOMS will be posted throughout the school to assist students in finding their homerooms. In ALPHA HOMEROOM, students will receive a final copy of their first semester schedule.  It may reflect changes due to administrative leveling of classes or other changes in classes or personnel.  This will be the official and final schedule.

Code of Conduct & Directory Information:

Each year the school district asks for students and parents to review the updated code of conduct and complete an updated emergency contact form. The code of conduct and the forms can be found on the school district’s parent portal. A copy of the forms will also be sent home the first day of school and are asked to be returned as soon as possible.

School Supplies* (Minimal):

  • 1 Spiral Notebook
  • 1 pocket folder
  • Pens & Pencils

*Teachers will have specific lists of additional suggested supplies pertinent to each course

Busses and Parent Drop-off / pick-up:

Bus schedules will be available on the District Parent Portal and in the News-Press sometime during the week before school starts with specific stops. During the first week of school, parent drop-off and pick-up may be very congested so please plan for additional time. Drop-off entrance is off of Iris and parents may exit directly onto Orange Grove Blvd. Students may be dropped off as early as 6:40 am.

Breakfast and Lunch:

  • Breakfast and Lunch will be provided free of charge to all students this year.
  • Extra Milk: $0.40
  • A la Carte items: Individually priced
