Multiple times throughout the year, our district monitors individual student progress in the areas of English/Language Arts, Math, Biology and US History through online programs called STAR and COMPASS. The purpose of this progress monitoring is for teachers to make instructional decisions that best meet the needs of each individual students to ensure all are meeting Florida Department of Education proficiency expectations and to help guide students toward post-secondary college and career readiness.  Progress Monitoring typically occurs at the beginning of each school year and at the end of each quarter in applicable classes and results are readily available to parents and students through the FOCUS Parent Portal.
