North High Certified Instructors

North High currently has nine (9) teachers within the Business & Tech Education department that are Adobe or Microsoft certified. In 2008-09, North High teachers were awarded more certifications (30) than any other school in Lee County.

Mr. Brounson

Mr. Brounson has his Bachelor's from Barry University in Miami. He has 12 years of T.V. production and directing experience from NBC-2 in Fort Myers. He has also been teaching T.V. Broadcasting and special effects (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects ) for seven years.

Certifications: Adobe Premiere.

Mr. Coffin

Mr. Coffin has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Industrial Arts Education and has taught 3D modeling and animation for more than 10 years. He has attended classes and conferences in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida and is the Technology Education Department Chair. Mr. Coffin has taught at North High for 15 years, and 3D Animation with AutoDesk 3ds Max for the past 11 years.

Certifications: Adobe Photoshop, AutoDesk 3ds Max.

Mr. Curls

Mr. Curls holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Civil & Environmental Engineering. The 2008-09 Lee County Technology Specialist of the year, Mr. Curls is responsible for all technology on the North High campus, in addition to maintaining the school’s web site. A former graduate of North High, Mr. Curls has been with the school for over four years.

Certifications: Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop (Expert).

Mrs. Curls

Mrs. Curls, a graduate from the University of South Carolina, has taught Technical Education for the past 6 years at North Fort Myers High School. She currently teaches 3D Animation with AutoDesk 3ds Max, in addition to CCC.

Mr. Daly

Mr. Daly has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. He has been teaching courses in graphic design and web design at North High for over nine years. North High's resident guru on all things Adobe, Mr. Daly also teaches beginning and advanced courses in digital photography.
