Digital Info Tech (8207310)
Digital Info Tech provides students with the opportunity to learn office procedures and communication skills through the use of technology while expanding the study of the core elements of Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook). Students will train and be given the opportunity to gain certification in Microsoft Office 2013.
All students will be enrolled in Digital Info Tech their first year. This course is two semesters long and is a prerequisite for many of the Digital Media courses.
Microsoft Office Specialist
North High freshmen enrolled in Digital Info Tech have the opportunity to earn all four of the major Microsoft Office certifications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. We also offer the option for our advanced students to certify in the expert level of Word and Excel. Students who successfully pass a certification exam prove that they meet globally recognized performance standards and are able to work productively and efficiently. Organizations that recognize and promote the MOS credential can benefit from a streamlined recruitment process, greater individual productivity, and increased employee satisfaction.
