Debbie Diggs, Principal

Debbie Diggs is in her 25th year in local education. She grew up in Gainesville, FL and attended the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida earning her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. In later years she earned her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. After working as a math teacher in Lee and Charlotte counties for seven years, she worked at the district office in Staff Development designing and implementing training for instructional and support staff. In 2005, she opened Ida S. Baker High School and served as an administrator there for the last eleven years. Mrs. Diggs is married to Chris and has three sons, Jordan, Drayton and Christian. She is proud to be a part of the North Fort Myers High School family and an active part of the community.

John Drake, Assistant Principal

John Drake has been an administrator at North Fort Myers High since 1998. He is very proud of all the programs and opportunities North High provides for its students. He is married and has three sons. Mr. Drake enjoys reading especially books on history. 

Joy Marks, Assistant Principal

Joy Marks is a native of Lee County and a proud alumnus of North Fort Myers High (Class of 1999). She then attended Florida Gulf Coast University (Business Management) and Arkansas State University (Educational Leadership). She was a teacher at Ida Baker High prior to coming to North Fort Myers High in 2011. Joy’s parents as well as her husband are also alumni of North Fort Myers High School and hopes one day her children will also attend. Joy has been involved in the community as a coach and now as a parent.

Doug McKeever, Assistant Principal

Doug McKeever attended Bowling Green State University (Bachelor's), Northwestern State University (Master's) and NOVA Southeastern (Ed. Specialist). He was a part of the North family as a teacher from 1984 to 2006, teaching health and general science (84-88) and serving as a guidance counselor (89-06).  Doug has also served as coach for North's Boys and Girls Basketball, Volleyball, and Boys Track. He left North in 2006 to become an Assistant Principal at ALC Central and later served as Assistant Principal at Lehigh Senior High School (07-14). Doug returns to North Fort Myers High School for the 2014-2015 school year as an assistant principal. Doug's children are alumni of North. His son, Douglas, graduated from NFMHS in 2004 and his daughter, Susie, graduated from NFMHS in 2012.

Michelle Stewart, Assistant Principal

Dr. Michelle Stewart is a proud North High graduate (1996) and Lee County native. She attended Florida Gulf Coast University  (Legal Studies) and Nova Southeastern University where she received her Master's Degree (Educational Leadership) and Doctorate Degree (Organizational Leadership/Human Resource Development). Michelle has worked for the School District of Lee County for 16 years; 7 years in transportation, 8 years as a teacher, and 1 year as a reading coach. She has one son and enjoys outdoor activities and community outreach.
